Angelina Jolie has always been looked at as an idol to
millions of people. Not only is she known for her beyond awesome acting career,
and her newfound career in directing, but she is also known for the mother that
she is.
She is a mother to six beautiful children.
At age 39 she was struck with the saddening news of the
possibility of ovarian cancer. Her mother died of ovarian cancer when Jolie was
younger. Many members of her family were
victims of different types of cancer.
Angeline Jolie did not want her children to grow up saying
that their mother had died of ovarian cancer. So she took the brave decision of
having her ovaries removed!
That was a bold and daring move that shook the nation. Her bravery
has resonated with people al over the world, and continues to do so weeks after
her surgery.
Angelina continued to glow and shine after her surgery, and
she looks happier than ever, especially in the photos of her with her children
at the teen choice awards!
