Tess Munster is the largest plus-size model to join a
mainstream fashion agency at size 24.
She is a “body-positive activist” and has appeared in Vogue
Italia.
The 29-year old model was found on Instagram, and has now
been signed up with “Milk Model Management” and will star in advertisements for
plus-size designers like Yours and Simply Be.
She was interviewed, and when questioned if it bothers her
that most of the focus is on her size she said, “I don’t mind talking about my
size. What’s frustrating is that we haven’t been focusing on making history in
an industry that had a set look.”
She is on her way to changing the face of the fashion
industry and showing the world a different side of beauty. She believes that “bigger
women” have a place in fashion and does not consider the word “fat” offensive.
