The SAT practice tests have always been trying to stay up to date with
the “current styles”. So for this year’s Princeton review practice tests, in
the grammar section, they used famous pop songs.
The question asked to fix the grammar mistake in the “famous song
lyrics”.
One of the song lyrics was Taylor Swift’s song, Fifteen.
The lyrics on the practice test were written:
"Somebody tells you they love you, you got to believe
them"
The correct lyrics are:
"Somebody tells you they love you, you're gonna believe
them".
Taylor Swift lashed out on the Princeton Review for attacking
her grammar. She said, "Not the right lyrics at all pssshhhh. You had one
job, test people. One job."
Taylor
Swift is one to stand up for herself regardless of the situation. If you go
after her, she’ll definitely fight back.
