Karachi bus attack kills dozens



In Karachi, Pakistan, gunmen on motorcycles open fire and board a vehicle.

The gunmen killed dozens of people on Tuesday after forcing their way onto a bus. The bus was said to be carrying members of a minority Islamic sector.

The men arrived on three motorbikes. They shot at the bus using automatic weapons as the bus was traveling through the city.

As the bus came to a stop, the gunmen boarded the vehicle. It was then that they continued their killing spree against unarmed civilians.

45 people were killed at 13 were injured according to the provincial police chief.

A surviving passenger, Saleem, was rushed to the hospital. He was wounded in both his arm and leg. He said, “I saw five armed men who started targeting passengers individually, they wanted to target us because we are not Muslims according to most people in Pakistan.
